< Back to Mansion HillHistory of the building: This graceful red brick Federal Revival style house was designed by architect Ferdinand Kronenberg's and built in 1922 for William G. Schumaker, his sister Amelia and her husband Joseph Bollenbeck. Both men were in the shoe business and Mr. Bollenbeck also worked as a wholesale cigar dealer. The house remained in the family until about 1996.
