The Mansion Hill District is located in downtown Madison, next to the UW and MATC campuses. This area earned its title many years ago, when the Governor and other prominent 19th century families built their homes here. Its rich downtown environment of tree-lined streets, beautiful architecture and history of notable residents gained it a place in the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. In keeping with this tradition of excellence, these downtown Madison properties have been meticulously restored and offer vintage charm and amenities such as onsite laundry, furnishings, hardwood floors, fireplaces and balconies are available at most locations.
